252.10 Fees and expenses.

The commissioner of human services shall charge and collect from each person taking any such courses of instruction an amount for board and tuition not exceeding $10 per week and the money so collected shall be turned into the state treasury as are other miscellaneous receipts from the state hospital. The expenses incident to the conduct of such courses of instruction and for the board of those taking the same shall be paid as are the other expenses for maintaining the state hospital for persons with mental retardation. The courses of instruction herein referred to shall, within the limitation of charges as stated, be made as near self-sustaining as possible.
