THE MICHIGAN PENAL CODE (EXCERPT)
Act 328 of 1931

750.544 Treason; punishment.

Sec. 544.

Any person who shall commit the crime of treason against this state shall be punished by imprisonment in a state prison for life.

No person shall be convicted of treason unless upon the testimony of 2 witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
