CHAPTER 65. OF ALIENATION BY DEED, AND THE PROOF AND RECORDING OF CONVEYANCES, AND THE CANCELING OF MORTGAGES.

565.13 Conveyance by nonresident married person; effect; procedure.

Sec. 13.

When a married person not residing in this state joins with his or her spouse in a conveyance of real estate situated within this state, the conveyance shall have the same effect as if he or she were not married, and the acknowledgment or proof of the execution of the conveyance by him or her may be the same as if he or she were not married.
