DEMONSTRATION EDUCATIONAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAMS (EXCERPT)

395.174 Local community; subsidization.

Sec. 4.

The local community, through a nonprofit corporation composed of representatives of public and private agencies and community leaders, shall undertake the raising of funds for the subsidizing of part-time work experience (for a minimum of 6 weeks) for students in the job upgrading program. Students will be paid a minimum of 60 cents per hour for a 20-hour week and shall perform work that will not result in the displacement of regular workers, in addition to being of training benefit to them.
