Act 328 of 1931 750.11 Taking a woman and compelling her to marry; felony, penalty. Sec. 11. Taking a woman and compelling her to marry—Any person who shall take any woman unlawfully and against her will, and by force, menace, or duress, compel her to marry him or any other person, or to be defiled, shall be guilty of a felony, punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for life or any term of years.
