Act 181 of 1953 52.210 Removal of body to crematory; permit from county medical examiner; violation of section, penalty. Sec. 10. No funeral director, embalmer or any other person shall remove the body of any deceased person to a crematory or remove for the purpose of cremation such dead body from the county in which death occurred without the signed permit of the medical examiner for such county or his deputy. Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be imprisoned not more than 1 year, or fined not more than $500.00, or both.
