Act 218 of 1956 500.7012 Fees; payment and collection; service of process; designation and purpose of fees. Sec. 7012. (1) The commissioner shall collect, and the persons affected shall pay to the commissioner, the following fees:
(2) Each MEWA shall appoint the commissioner as its resident agent for purposes of service of process. The fee for such service shall be in the amount of $5.00, payable at the time of service. (3) Fees paid under this section shall be designated for the insurance bureau to cover the additional costs incurred as a result of this chapter.
