Act 218 of 1956 500.3107b Reimbursement or coverage for certain expenses not required; conditional effective date of subdivision (b). Sec. 3107b. Reimbursement or coverage for expenses within personal protection insurance coverage under section 3107 is not required for either of the following: (a) A practice of optometric service, unless that service was included in the definition of practice of optometry under section 17401 of the public health code, Act No. 368 of the Public Acts of 1978, being section 333.17401 of the Michigan Compiled Laws, as of May 20, 1992. (b) The use of therapeutic sound or electricity, or both, for the reduction or correction of spinal subluxations in a chiropractic service. This subdivision shall not take effect unless Senate Bill No. 493 of the 87th Legislature is enacted into law.
