Act 162 of 1982 450.3144 Proxies; voting by mail ballot or referendum. Sec. 1144. (1) Notwithstanding section 421, there shall be no proxies unless the articles or bylaws so provide, in which case no more than 5 proxies may be voted by any 1 person at any meeting. (2) The articles or bylaws may provide a method by which members may vote on matters submitted to a vote of members by mail ballot or referendum.
