450.2737 Effect of merger or consolidation where surviving or new corporation is domestic corporation, domestic business corporation, or foreign business corporation.

Sec. 737.

If a surviving or new corporation is a domestic corporation to be governed by the laws of this state, the effect of the merger or consolidation authorized by section 736 is the same as in the case of a merger or consolidation of domestic corporations. If a surviving or new business corporation is a domestic business corporation to be governed by the laws of this state, the effect of a merger or consolidation is the same as in the case of a merger or consolidation of domestic business corporations, subject to Act No. 284 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended. If a surviving or new business corporation is a foreign business corporation to be governed by the laws of a jurisdiction other than this state, the effect of the merger or consolidation is the same as in the case of the merger or consolidation in such jurisdiction, except as otherwise herein provided.
