Act 290 of 1965 408.757a Antique steam boilers; compliance with rules; inspection; certificate of inspection; exception. Sec. 7a. (1) Antique steam boilers shall comply with the rules promulgated by the board and shall be inspected once every 3 years. An owner of an antique steam boiler may request an inspection more often than every 3 years. Antique steam boilers used for commercial purposes shall be inspected annually. A certificate of inspection shall be issued by the department of labor and economic growth upon compliance with the applicable rules. (2) This act does not apply to miniature steam or marine engines used as a hobby.
