DIVISION ON DEAFNESS ACT (EXCERPT)

408.208 Division of deafness fund; establishment; administration; receipt and disposition of money; expenditure of revenue; disposition of unexpended money.

Sec. 8.

(1) A division on deafness fund is established in the department of treasury to be administered by the department of labor.

(2) The division shall receive and forward to the state treasurer for deposit in the division on deafness fund all money received under section 7. The fund may receive as revenue money from any other source, as appropriated by the legislature.

(3) The revenue in the division on deafness fund shall be expended only for the implementation of this act.

(4) Money in the fund that is unexpended at the end of the fiscal year shall be carried over to the succeeding fiscal year, shall not revert to the general fund, and shall be expended as provided in subsection (3).
