Act 213 of 1957 399.171 Appropriation; purpose. Sec. 1. The governing body of a city, village, township, or county in this state may raise and appropriate money for the purpose of fostering any activity or project which the governing body of the village, city, township, or county determines will advance the historical interests of the village, city, township, or county.
