TUITION GRANTS (EXCERPT)
Act 313 of 1966


390.995 Tuition grants; maximum amount or grant level.

Sec. 5.

Each tuition grant shall not exceed the amount of tuition and fees for the full academic year as reported by the college or university in which the applicant is enrolled, or an amount the Michigan higher education assistance authority finds appropriate in relation to the family's financial resources, whichever is the lesser. If there are not sufficient appropriated funds to provide each student with the grant amount for which the student is eligible, the Michigan higher education assistance authority shall establish a maximum grant level for that academic year.
