STATE PLUMBING ACT (EXCERPT)
Act 733 of 2002


338.3567 Liability.

Sec. 57.

This act shall not be construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility or liability of any person owning, operating, controlling, or installing plumbing for damages to persons or property caused by any defect in the plumbing, and the state of Michigan is not to be held as assuming any such liability by reason of the inspection or the examination authorized in that plumbing, the certificate of approval, or the license and certificate issued under this act.
