Act 368 of 1978 333.2899 Reporting violation; statement; initiation of proceedings. Sec. 2899. The state registrar may report a violation of this part or the rules promulgated pursuant to this part to the attorney general. A statement of the facts and circumstances of the violation shall be submitted with the report. Upon receipt of the report, the attorney general, either directly or through the prosecuting attorney of the county in which the violation occurred, may initiate appropriate proceedings against the person committing and responsible for the alleged violation.
