Act 368 of 1978 333.2842 Death registration; death occurring in moving conveyance. Sec. 2842. (1) When death occurs in a moving conveyance in the United States and the body is first removed from the conveyance in this state, the death registration shall show this fact and be completed and filed in accordance with this part. The place where the body is first removed from the conveyance, shall be shown as the place of death. (2) When death occurs in a moving conveyance while in international waters or air space or a foreign country and the body is first removed from the conveyance in this state, the death shall be registered in this state in accordance with this part, but the certificate shall show the actual place of death insofar as the place can be determined.
