WEIGHTS AND MEASURES ACT (EXCERPT)
Act 283 of 1964


290.611 State director of weights and measures; investigation of complaints; commercial transactions.

Sec. 11.

The director shall investigate complaints made to him concerning violations of the provisions of this act, and shall, upon his own initiative, conduct such investigations as he deems advisable to develop information on prevailing procedures in commercial quantity determination and on possible violations of the provisions of this act and to promote the general objective of accuracy in the determination and representation of quantity in commercial transactions.
