Act 300 of 1949 257.319c Providing United States department of transportation with information pertaining to operator's or chauffeur's license with vehicle group designation; notification of motor vehicle administrator or other appropriate officer. Sec. 319c. (1) The secretary of state shall provide the United States department of transportation with the following information pertaining to an operator's or chauffeur's license with a vehicle group designation: (a) A notice of the issuance of an operator's or chauffeur's license with a vehicle group designation within 10 days after the issuance of the license. (b) A notice of a suspension, revocation, or denial of a license within 10 days after the suspension, revocation, or denial. (2) Within 10 days after receiving a record of conviction, civil infraction determination, or forfeiture of bail in this state of a nonresident driver of a commercial motor vehicle for a violation under the motor vehicle laws of this state, other than a parking violation, the secretary of state shall notify the motor vehicle administrator or other appropriate officer in the state in which the person is licensed.
