Act 116 of 1954 168.761a Absent voters' ballots; precinct delegate ballots. Sec. 761a. In cities or townships which have established absent voter ballot counting boards, when precinct delegates are to be elected, the clerk, when forwarding absent voter ballots to voters may in addition to the regular return envelope, forward to the absent voter a separate envelope for the return of the delegate ballot. Delegate ballots shall be returned to the clerk by the voter in the special envelope in such case and the clerk shall forward the delegate ballots so returned to the proper precinct on election day. The precinct inspectors shall tally such ballots separately and add such totals to the precinct totals as shown by the voting machines in completing their statements. The secretary of state shall issue rules to implement this section.
