Section 15gggggg - Massachusetts Maple Month

Section 15GGGGGG. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the month of March as Massachusetts Maple Month in recognition of the vital role maple sugaring plays in the agriculture industry, as well as the culture, heritage and economy of the commonwealth. The proclamation shall commend the maple syrup producers that create a natural native sweetener and a versatile ingredient that adds unique flavor enhancing qualities to many dishes and shall recommend that the month be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.


Chapter 6: Section 15GGGGGG. Massachusetts Women's Defense Corps Remembrance Day

Section 15GGGGGG. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart April 2 as the Massachusetts Women's Defense Corps Remembrance Day, in recognition of the generous contributions of the approximately 18,000 women who volunteered to train as air raid wardens, drivers, communications personnel, canteen workers, medics, chemical detections personnel and emergency fire fighters, and recommending that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
