Section 13. In addition to the duties imposed by law upon the treasurer of a bank, or the officer or employee thereof charged with the duties and functions usually performed by the treasurer, he shall also be responsible for the performance of all acts and duties required of such corporation by the provisions of chapters one hundred and sixty-seven, one hundred and sixty-seven A to one hundred and sixty-seven G, inclusive, one hundred and seventy, and one hundred and eighty-three as such provisions are applicable to such officer or to such bank except in so far as such performance has been expressly imposed on some other officer or employee of such bank by its regulations or by-laws or by provision of law.
