CHAPTER 29 STATE FINANCE
Section 36 Mortgages held by commonwealth; discharge; assignments

Section 36. If the state treasurer is authorized to discharge a mortgage held by the commonwealth, he may instead thereof assign it; but such assignment shall not impose upon the commonwealth any liability, express or implied.
