2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 7 — Section 6E. State office buildings physician; appointment; quarters; duties; salary; assistants.

Section 6E. The commissioner shall appoint a duly qualified and licensed medical doctor as state office buildings physician who shall not be subject to chapter thirty-one and may be removed for cause.

He shall be provided with suitable quarters in the state office building for the purpose of rendering first aid and emergency medical treatment in and about the state office building in accordance with such rules and regulations as the commissioner may from time to time prescribe. He shall receive such salary as may be established by the commissioner and may employ, subject to the approval of the commissioner, such nursing and other assistants as he deems necessary.
