2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 7 — Section 4F. Funds.

Section 4F. The commissioner may apply for and accept on behalf of the commonwealth any funds, including grants, bequests, gifts or contributions, from any person. Such funds shall be deposited in a separate account with the state treasurer and received by him on behalf of the commonwealth. All such funds may be expended by the commissioner in accordance with law.

The commissioner shall from time to time promulgate regulations governing the expenditure of such funds by himself and by the secretaries having charge of the executive offices established by chapter six A.
