2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 7 — Section 41A. Office of programming; director.

Section 41A. There shall be located within the division of capital asset management and maintenance an office of programming headed by a director of programming. Said director shall be appointed by the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance, with the prior written approval of the commissioner of administration, and may be removed in like manner. The position of director shall not be subject to the provisions of chapter thirty-one or section nine A of chapter thirty.

No person shall be appointed director of the office of programming unless he has extensive experience in the study and programming of buildings.

The commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance shall be responsible for the exercise of all powers and the performance of all duties assigned by law to the office of programming, which shall be under his direction, control, and supervision.
