2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 29 — Section 36. Mortgages held by commonwealth; discharge; assignments.

Section 36. If the state treasurer is authorized to discharge a mortgage held by the commonwealth, he may instead thereof assign it; but such assignment shall not impose upon the commonwealth any liability, express or implied.
