2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 151A — Section 30B. Additional benefits.

Section 30B. (a) An individual whose eligibility or continued eligibility for unemployment benefits pursuant to the Federal Supplemental Compensation Act of 1982 is terminated solely because of the failure of congress to make available funds for the continued payment of federal supplemental compensation shall be eligible for additional benefits under the same terms and conditions as provided in said Federal Supplemental Compensation Act of 1982.

(b) The weekly benefit amount payable to such individual shall be the amount equal to that amount the individual would be entitled to under section 602(d) of the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982.

(c) Any benefit paid to an individual under this section shall be charged to the solvency account established pursuant to section fourteen except to the extent that the Unemployment Compensation Fund is reimbursed under any act of congress for the payment of such benefit.
