2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 140 — Section 174A. Killing of dogs by carbon monoxide fumes.

Section 174A. No dog whose killing is authorized under the provisions of this chapter shall be put to death in a carbon monoxide chamber unless such chamber is supplied with gas by an engine or gas generator that will produce a minimum of four per cent concentration of carbon monoxide within five minutes, the gas used is cooled and filtered before entering such chamber, and the temperature of the gas inside such chamber does not exceed a temperature of eight-five degrees Fahrenheit.
