2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 13 — Section 58. Board; membership; qualifications; appointment.

Section 58. There shall be a board of registration of electrologists consisting of five persons, residents of the commonwealth, of whom three shall be licensed electrologists who have been engaged in the practice of electrolysis in the commonwealth for at least five years, one of whom shall be a physician registered under the laws of the commonwealth, and one of whom shall be a representative of the public, subject to the provisions of section nine B. No member of the board, while in office, shall have any financial interest, direct or indirect, in the manufacture or sale of equipment and supplies used in the practice of electrolysis or shall engage in the teaching of electrolysis. A member of said board shall be appointed in January of each year by the governor, for a term of three years from the first day of the following February.
