2006 Massachusetts Code - Chapter 112 — Section 87PPP. Definitions.

Section 87PPP. For the purposes of sections eighty-seven PPP to eighty-seven VVV, inclusive, the following words and phrases, unless the context otherwise requires, shall have the following meanings:—

“Board”, the board of registration of radio and television technicians established under section sixty-one of chapter thirteen.

“Radio and television technician”, any person who for another person and for a fee or other valuable consideration, or with the intention or in expectation or upon the promise of receiving or collecting a fee or other valuable consideration, engages in the business of maintaining or repairing radio or television receivers.

“Radio or television receiver”, a radio broadcast or television broadcast receiver for entertainment use.

“Master technical license”, license issued to any person at least eighteen years of age who has had at least one year of experience in the repair and maintenance of radio and television receivers.

“Technician license”, license issued to any person at least eighteen years of age who acts under the supervision of a licensed master technician in the repair and maintenance of radio and television receivers.
