Subtitle 4A - Stored Wire and Electronic Communications and Transactional Records Access
§ 10-4A-01. Definitions

    (a)    In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

    (b)    The following words have the meanings stated in § 10–401 of this title:

        (1)    Aggrieved person;

        (2)    Aural transfer;

        (3)    Communications common carrier;

        (4)    Contents;

        (5)    Electronic communication;

        (6)    Electronic communication service;

        (7)    Electronic communications system;

        (8)    Electronic, mechanical, or other device;

        (9)    Electronic storage;

        (10)    Intercept;

        (11)    Investigative or law enforcement officer;

        (12)    Judge of competent jurisdiction;

        (13)    Oral communication;

        (14)    Person;

        (15)    Readily accessible to the general public;

        (16)    User; and

        (17)    Wire communication.

    (c)    “Remote computing service” means the provision to the public of computer storage or processing services by means of an electronic communications system.
