Subtitle 1 - General Provisions
§ 13.5-103. Communications between Maryland court and court of another state

  • (a) In general. --

    • (1) A court of this State may communicate with a court in another state concerning a proceeding arising under this title.

    • (2) The court may allow the parties to participate in a communication described in paragraph (1) of this subsection.

    • (3)

      • (i) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this section, the court shall make a record of the communication.

      • (ii) A record described in this paragraph may be limited to the fact that the communication occurred.

  • (b) Contents of communications. -- A court communicating with a court in another state under this section may communicate concerning schedules, calendars, court records, and other administrative matters without making a record.
