§ 18-315. Antirabies clinics

  • (a) Clinics required. -- With the county health department for each county, the Department shall provide for an antirabies clinic in the county.
  • (b) Staff. -- Each clinic shall be staffed by a graduate veterinarian.
  • (c) Operation. -- The clinic for a county shall be offered on or before June 30 of each year, on the date and at the location that the Department and the health department for the county determine.
  • (d) Fees. -- Each county health department may charge fees that are set so as to produce funds to cover the cost of material and services that the clinic provides.
  • (e) Vaccination procedures. -- The public health veterinarian shall set the vaccination procedures to be used at the clinics.
