§ 5-1105. Penalty
(a) Penalties for violation. -- Except as otherwise provided in this title, any person who violates any provision of this title or of any rule, regulation, or order adopted or issued under this title is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding $ 500 or imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or both.
(b) Penalties for violation -- Carroll County or Baltimore County. -- In Carroll County or Baltimore County, a person who violates the provisions of ยง 5-705.1 of this title is subject to a fine of $ 100,000 for each violation and each month that a violation continues.
