§ 27-101.1. Civil penalties

MD Transp Code § 27-101.1 (2016) What's This?

(a) Violation of § 16-812. -- In addition to being disqualified from driving a commercial motor vehicle under § 16-812(i) of this article, a driver who is convicted of violating an out-of-service order shall be subject to the civil penalties specified by regulation by the United States Secretary of Transportation.

(b) Violation of § 16-806. -- An employer who is convicted of violating § 16-806(b)(4) or (5) of this article shall be subject to the civil penalties specified by regulation by the United States Secretary of Transportation.
