§ 1-609 - Warrants; writs

MD Cts & Jud Pro Code § 1-609 (2015) What's This?

(a) Warrants. -- When and in the manner authorized by law, a District Court judge may issue:

(1) Warrants of arrest; and

(2) Warrants for search and seizure or for interception of communications.

(b) Writs. -- A District Court judge may issue:

(1) Writs of habeas corpus ad testificandum or ad prosequendum; and

(2) Writs of error coram nobis.
