§ 9-1A-23. Operation in general

MD State Government Code § 9-1A-23 (2014) What's This?

(a) Hours of operation. -- A video lottery facility may operate 24 hours a day.

(b) Marketing, advertising, promotion. -- A video lottery operation licensee shall be responsible for all marketing, advertising, and promotion for its video lottery operation.

(c) Facility may offer any State lottery games. -- Any State lottery games that are offered by or through the Commission may be offered for sale at a video lottery facility in the State.

(d) Compilation of data in Baltimore City; reports; regulations. --

(1) Within 30 days after the completion of its first year of operations, a video lottery operation licensee in Baltimore City shall:

(i) compile data on the age, sex, race, and county of residence of its State video lottery employees who worked in the State during the previous year; and

(ii) submit the data to the Commission.

(2) Within 3 months after receiving the data required under paragraph (1) of this subsection, the Commission shall submit a report containing the data to the Governor, the Governor's Office of Minority Affairs, and, subject to ยง 2-1246 of the State Government Article, the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Delegates.

(3) The Commission shall adopt regulations to carry out this subsection.
