STATE GOVERNMENT
§ 9-20C-01 - Definitions.
(a) In general. -- In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b) Advisory Committee. -- "Advisory Committee" means the Maryland Offshore Wind Business Development Advisory Committee established under § 9-20C-02 of this subtitle.
(c) Administration. -- "Administration" means the Maryland Energy Administration.
(d) Director. -- "Director" means the Director of the Maryland Energy Administration.
(e) Emerging business. -- "Emerging business" means a business that is at least 51% owned and controlled by an individual or individuals who are certified to have a personal net worth, as defined in § 14-301 of the State Finance and Procurement Article, that does not exceed $ 6,500,000 as adjusted each year for inflation according to the Consumer Price Index.
(f) Fund. -- "Fund" means the Maryland Offshore Wind Business Development Fund established under § 9-20C-03 of this subtitle.
(g) Minority. -- "Minority" means an individual who is a member of any of the groups listed in § 14-301(j)(1)(i) of the State Finance and Procurement Article.
