§ 8A-701 - Right of entry at beginning of term of lease


MD Real Prop Code § 8A-701 (2013) What's This?

(a) Right of entry. -- A park owner shall assure the resident that the resident, peaceably and quietly, may enter on the leased premises at the beginning of the term of any lease.

(b) Abatement of rent until possession delivered. -- If the park owner fails to provide the resident with possession of the site at the beginning of the term of any lease, the rent payable under the rental agreement shall abate until possession is delivered. The resident on written notice to the park owner before possession is delivered may terminate, cancel, and rescind the rental agreement.
