§ 4-1609 - New bonds [Effective until October 1, 2013].

§4-1609.

(a) A covered county may issue new bonds to pay outstanding bonds in accordance with procedures of this subtitle and Article 31, § 24 of the Code.

(b) New bonds shall be secured to the same extent and shall have the same source of payment as the bonds refunded.

§ 4-1609 - New bonds [Effective October 1, 2013].

(a) Authorization. -- A covered county may issue new bonds to pay outstanding bonds in accordance with procedures of this subtitle and § 19-207 of the Local Government Article.

(b) Security. -- New bonds shall be secured to the same extent and shall have the same source of payment as the bonds refunded.
