§ 8-6A-12 - Surrender of certificate
(a) Surrender of certificate; pending charges; investigations. -- Unless the Board agrees to accept the surrender of a certificate, a certified nursing assistant or certified medication technician may not surrender the certificate nor may the certificate lapse by operation of law while the certificate holder is under investigation or while charges are pending against the certified nursing assistant or certified medication technician.
(b) Conditions on agreement. -- The Board may set conditions on its agreement with the certified nursing assistant or certified medication technician under investigation or against whom charges are pending to accept surrender of the certificate.
