§13-1508.

(a) An organization listed in § 13-1503(b) of this subtitle may conduct a game of 50/50:

(1) without a 50/50 license, at a meeting of the organization; or

(2) with a 50/50 license, at an event other than a meeting of the organization.

(b) A money prize for a game of 50/50 may not exceed $500.

(c) A minor may not participate in a game of 50/50.

§ 13-1508 - 1. Exception for political committee fundraisers

(a) In general. -- Notwithstanding any other provision of this article, a political committee, as defined in § 1-101 of the Election Law Article, may conduct a fundraiser at which prizes of money or merchandise are awarded in a gaming event or 50/50.

(b) Prize amount not to exceed prize limits for county. -- A political committee may award a money or merchandise prize under this section if the prize does not exceed the amount otherwise allowed for a prize in the county.
