Section 13-607 - Prohibited activities.

§ 13-607. Prohibited activities.
 

(a)  In general.- A person may not issue any temporary registration plate that contains any misstatement of fact. 

(b)  Inserting false information on face of temporary registration plate.- A person may not knowingly insert any false information on the face of a temporary registration plate. 

(c)  Issuance of temporary registration plates to certain persons prohibited.- A dealer may not issue a temporary registration plate to any person who has annual registration plates for a vehicle that has been sold or exchanged. 

(d)  Dealer lending temporary plates prohibited.- A dealer may not lend a temporary registration plate to any person. 

(e)  Dealer using temporary plates on certain vehicles prohibited.- A dealer may not use a temporary registration plate on any vehicle that the dealer owns. 

(f)  Other prohibited acts by dealers.- A dealer may not otherwise issue, assign, transfer, or deliver any temporary registration plate to any person for any reason except as authorized by this part.
