Section 5-608 - Student practice.

§ 5-608. Student practice.
 

(a)  Restriction.- Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, a school of cosmetology approved by the State Department of Education or the Maryland Higher Education Commission may not allow a student to practice cosmetology on the public. 

(b)  Exception.- A school of cosmetology approved by the State Department of Education or the Maryland Higher Education Commission may allow a student to practice cosmetology in accordance with § 5-302 or § 5-303 of this title.
