Section 5-504 - Issuance of beauty salon permit; barbershop permit.

§ 5-504. Issuance of beauty salon permit; barbershop permit.
 

(a)  In general.- The Board shall issue a beauty salon permit to each applicant who meets the requirements of this subtitle. 

(b)  Limited practice beauty salon permit.- A beauty salon permit for the limited practice of cosmetology shall specify the limited cosmetology services for which the permit is issued. 

(c)  Beauty salon permit and barbershop permit.- The Board shall issue a beauty salon permit and a barbershop permit to an applicant of a single establishment if the applicant: 

(1) meets the requirements of: 

(i) this title; and 

(ii) Title 4 of this article; 

(2) submits a separate application for each permit; and 

(3) pays a separate fee for each application.
