Section 4-301 - License required; exceptions.

§ 4-301. License required; exceptions.
 

(a)  Required.- Except as otherwise provided in this title, an individual shall be licensed by the Board to practice barbering before the individual may practice barbering in the State. 

(b)  Exceptions.- This section does not apply to: 

(1) a student while the student practices barbering in accordance with § 4-301.1 or § 4-301.2 of this subtitle; 

(2) a registered apprentice barber; or 

(3) an individual authorized in the discretion of the Board to practice barbering under special circumstances.
