Section 19-603 - Restrictions on use of badge or certification card.

§ 19-603. Restrictions on use of badge or certification card.
 

(a)  In general.- Except as authorized under this title, a security guard agency may not provide any person with a badge or a certification card or other document indicating that any individual is a security guard. 

(b)  Loaning of badge or card.- A certified security guard may not lend the security guard's certification card or badge to another person or allow another person to use or display the card or badge. 

(c)  Wearing and carrying badge.- Regardless of any association that an individual may have with a security guard agency, unless authorized under this title, the individual may not wear or carry a badge that: 

(1) represents that the individual is a security guard; or 

(2) otherwise represents that the individual is associated with a security guard agency.
