§ 33-302.

** SPECIAL NOTE: EFFECTIVE - JULY 1, 2006 - CHAPTER 164 - 2005 **

      (a)      Contributions to the Special Pay Plan shall be made by the Secretary or the Secretary's designee no later than the time the participating employee terminates State employment.

      (b)      Contributions made by the Secretary or the Secretary's designee on behalf of the participating employee under subsection (a) of this section include:

            (1)      compensation for the participating employee's unused annual leave under § 9-305 of this article; and

            (2)      any other compensation approved by the Secretary or the Secretary's designee.

      (c)      The Secretary or the Secretary's designee shall adopt regulations that are necessary to carry out this section.
