** SPECIAL NOTE: EFFECTIVE - JULY 1, 2006 - CHAPTER 164 - 2005 **

      (a)      The Secretary or the Secretary's designee shall adopt regulations that establish the necessary criteria that an individual who is a State employee shall meet to be considered an eligible employee, including age and the minimum amount of contributions required with respect to the participating employee.

      (b)      Participation in the Special Pay Plan is mandatory for any eligible employee.
